Google aims for the stars
Google has just announced plans for its latest addition to the multi-billion dollar company. This new application to Google Earth will allow users to view the nights sky and far-away constellations and planets. The application will allow users to navigate there way though 100 million stars and will also label which stars make up which constellations. This will also offer views of our solar systems positioning now and up to two months in the future.
“Anyone interested in exploring the wonders of our universe can quickly see where the stunning objects photographed by Hubble actually dwell in the heavens,”
To access Sky, users will have to download the new version of Earth. Available from Wednesday from their website.

Sky follows the Google application Earth. Since Earth’s release in 2005 it has had over 200 million downloads.
